After Georgia finished the season at 7-5 in Kirby Smart’s first season in Athens, the Bulldogs qualified for a bowl after winning three of the final four games of the season and now look to face off against a Big 12 opponent in Memphis.

According to ESPN’s Brett McMurphy, Georgia will be taking on TCU in the Liberty Bowl:

The Liberty Bowl is scheduled to kickoff Dec. 30 at Noon (ET) and will be televised on ESPN.

TCU’s trip to the Liberty Bowl has already been officially announced:

The schools have met only three times on the gridiron, with Georgia sweeping the all-time series to date. The last game between the two was in 1988, in a game the Dawgs won 38-10.
