Georgia long-time offensive coordinator Mike Bobo is interviewing for the head coaching vacancy at Colorado State, confirmed Wednesday by Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity according to Seth Emerson of the Macon Telegraph:

Criticized earlier this season after red zone struggles during a loss to South Carolina, Bobo bounced back to help Georgia’s offense set the school record for points per game (41.7). The Bulldogs ranked first in the East in total offense at 454.9 yards per game.
He is Georgia’s second highest-paid assistant at $585,000 per year behind defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt. Bobo has been a member of Mark Richt’s staff since 2001, moving to primary play-caller five years later.
Considered one of the nation’s top recruiters, Bobo landed former five-star quarterback and top draft pick Matthew Stafford in 2005 and is credited as the point man this season in securing five-star defensive tackle Trent Thompson.
