Report: Georgia WR Terry Godwin leaves game with rib injury
By Paul Harvey
Published:
Georgia is up big over Missouri, but the Bulldogs have reportedly lost one of their receivers to injury.
Georgia’s leading receiver Terry Godwin suffered what is being described as a rib injury during the matchup with the Tigers. He has not returned to action and is likely done for the night. The severity of the injury has not yet been reported.
Losing Godwin would be a big blow to the Bulldogs. Godwin came into the game with 327 receiving yards and 5 TDs. Both marks are tops for Georgia. Godwin had four catches for 42 yards against Missouri before leaving with the injury.
The Bulldogs offense obviously thrives with the running game, but Godwin is a weapon that the offense would miss if he were out for any time at all.
Anthony Dasher shared the injury report on Twitter:

It was also reported that Godwin’s family was brought to the locker room, but the severity of Godwin’s injury remains a mystery:
From @RadiNabulsi: The Godwin family was brought down from the stands to the locker room to tend to Terry. Normally that is never a good sign. We will continue to monitor.
