After Houston dropped the Armed Forces Bowl in embarrassing fashion, losing 70-14 to Army on Saturday, OC Kendal Briles resigned his position.
It doesn’t seem Briles will be out of a job for long, though, as he was immediately connected to the opening at Florida State.
Now, it appears he will indeed be the next offensive coordinator for the Seminoles and will join Willie Taggart’s coaching staff:

Briles, obviously, has some controversy attached to his name, as he was part of the Baylor scandal when his dad, Art Briles, was the head coach.
However, it appears FSU is going to take a chance on him, so we’ll see what he does with the Seminoles’ offense in 2019 and beyond.
