No. 18 LSU will be without backup fullback Bry’Kiethon Mouton when it takes on Auburn at 6 p.m. ET tonight, according to a report from The Advocate.

The sophomore — who is the immediate backup to starter J.D. Moore — suffered an unspecified injury in practice that is not believed to be serious, according to the report. Mouton played significantly toward the end of last season after Moore sustained a knee injury, but he has served in a limited role this season.

LSU has used Mouton as a running threat in short-yardage situations, like when he rushed for 15 yards and a touchdown on four carries against Jacksonville State on Sept. 10. Sophomore David Ducre, the No. 1 fullback in the class of 2015, is LSU’s option behind Moore.
