Former Alabama RB Mark Ingram carved out a nice role for himself in the New Orleans Saints’ backfield the past couple of years, sharing the load with dynamic former Tennessee RB Alvin Kamara.

However, it appears the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner and two-time Pro Bowler will be wearing a new uniform in 2019.

Per a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Saints have agreed to a deal with RB Latavius Murray, which basically eliminates their need for Ingram:

Ingram was suspended for four games to start the 2018 season for violating the league’s PED policy, but he put together 6,007 rushing yards and 50 touchdowns in his eight years in New Orleans.

Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but the 29-year-old back still has a few good years left in him.
