Alabama’s new offensive coordinator is a familiar face within the Crimson Tide program.

Coach Nick Saban has reportedly settled on Dan Enos, according to a report by Football Scoop. Enos most recently was an associate head coach and quarterbacks coach at Alabama. He previously was an offensive coordinator at Arkansas under Bret Bielema for three seasons.

Enos has received credit for the development of quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts.

Before Arkansas, Enos was the head coach at Central Michigan for five seasons, where he was 26-36.

Previously, Enos was the offensive coordinator at North Dakota State (2003), D-II Missouri State (1999), D-II Northern Michigan (1996), and D-III Lakeland College (1994-95).

The position came open after Mike Locksley left to take the head coaching position at Maryland.

Enos graduated from Michigan State, and was a freshman when Saban was the defensive coordinator for the Spartans.
