Report: No. 1 JUCO prospect officially signs with Tennessee

More than a week after National Signing Day, Tennessee can finally count DE Jonathan Kongbo as an official Volunteer.
The four-star recruit and No. 1 junior college prospect announced his selection of UT on Feb. 3, and signed financial aid paperwork, but did not submit his National Letter of Intent. According to a report by GoVols247, Tennessee finally received Kongbo’s NLI on Thursday morning.
Earlier in the week, Kongbo offered a reassuring tweet to Big Orange Country.

With Kongbo officially signed, the Volunteers finish with the No. 14 class in 247Sports’ composite rankings for 2016.
