Toxicology report indicates no sign of impairment in Sadler, Foltz accident

Former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler was not impaired at the time he and Nebraska punter Sam Foltz were killed in a single-vehicle accident over the summer, according to the toxicology report.
Per The Associated Press, the report showed Sadler had a blood-alcohol content of 0.03 (the legal limit for driving is .08) and a low level of amphetamines in his blood. Waukesha County District Attorney Susan Opper said yesterday there was “nothing remarkable” about the report.
Sadler lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree, thus causing the car to burst into flames. He and Foltz died at the scene; the other passenger, LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye, survived the accident and was treated for second-degree burns.
The three were in Wisconsin to work at a kicking camp.
