Another Power 5 head coach is about to lose his job.

According to a report by Inside Carolina, the firing of North Carolina head coach Larry Fedora is “imminent.” UNC dropped to 2-9 Saturday after falling to in-state rival NC State in overtime 34-28. (North Carolina’s game against UCF scheduled for Sept. 15 was cancelled due to Hurricane Florence.)

Fedora, a former offensive coordinator at Florida, is 45-43 in seven seasons as the head coach of the Tar Heels. He took UNC to four consecutive bowl games from 2013-16. Since then, however, the Tar Heels have gone 1-7 in the ACC each of the last two seasons.

News broke earlier in the day that Texas Tech is set to fire Kliff Kingsbury. There will certainly be more firings over this weekend.
