Lane Kiffin’s recruiting at Ole Miss involves more than just prospects out of high school. Rebels players who were considering leaving the program are deciding to stay in Oxford.

WR Miles Battle appears to be the latest withdrawal from the portal. Battle tweeted a photo of himself in an Ole Miss uniform on Friday afternoon. David Johnson of OM Spirit later confirmed that Battle is no longer in the transfer portal.

A former 4-star prospect out of Cy Creek High School (Texas), Battle joined the program in 2018. He redshirted as a true freshman and played in 10 games this past season (no starts), recording two catches for 20 yards.

Redshirt freshman QB Grant Tisdale and sophomore WR Demarcus Gregory have also exited the transfer portal this week following Kiffin’s hiring.
