A pair of Alabama defensive backs have reportedly decided to return to Tuscaloosa for the 2017 season.

On the day that redshirt sophomore CB Marlon Humphrey announced he is entering the NFL Draft, AL.com’s Matt Zenitz reports that not the Crimson Tide won’t be completely depleted. Anthony Averett has told Crimson Tide coaches he will be back next season.

Averett appeared in all 15 games and made 48 total tackles, including three for loss. He also broke up eight passes.

Earlier in the day, Zenitz reported that DB Tony Brown considered going pro, but is expected to remain at UA. Brown had 32 total tackles, including 2.5 for loss, and a pair of interceptions in his junior season.
