One of the most electrifying players in college football history is retiring from the NFL.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, former Florida receiver Percy Harvin is calling it quits. Harvin played seven seasons in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets and Buffalo Bills.

Injuries bothered Harvin at the pro and college levels. After only missing three games in his first three seasons in the pros, Harvin was out of action in 36 combined regular season games and two playoff games over his final four seasons in the league.
Despite being slowed by injuries, Harvin showed his potential when he was on the field. He was named the 2009 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year. He was also sixth in the NFL in receptions in 2011 (87).
Harvin had plenty of memories at the next level, but one will certainly stay with him from winning Super Bowl 48 with the Seattle Seahawks as he returned a kickoff 87 yards for a TD against the Denver Broncos, also adding 50 yards from scrimmage.
