On Sunday night, San Francisco 49ers LB Reuben Foster was arrested on charges related to domestic violence.

That marks his second arrest since being selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, and now the former Alabama star faces a minimum six-game suspension, among other potential legal ramifications from Sunday’s incident.

On Monday, Foster was called into the 49ers’ facility, where he met with team officials about this latest run-in with the law, which also included a potential charge of possession of an assault rifle:

That meeting probably wasn’t fun for either side, as Foster is in danger of throwing his professional career away if these charges turn into convictions.

The investigations are still ongoing, but this isn’t a good look for the talented linebacker, and it remains to be seen what sort of punishment he receives.
