Tennessee appears to be down a starting offensive lineman for Saturday’s home opener against Missouri.
Wes Rucker of 247Sports reports that redshirt senior Jahmir Johnson appears to be out. Johnson got the start at left tackle in the Volunteers’ Week 1 win at South Carolina.
On the Week 2 depth chart for the Mizzou game, the left tackle position was listed as Wanya Morris OR Jahmir Johnson. Morris missed time in fall camp due to COVID-19 contact tracing but played off the bench in the season-opener at both tackle spots.
Tennessee vs. Mizzou is scheduled for a noon ET kickoff, airing on the SEC Network. The latest betting line has the Vols favored by 11 points.
Looks like Jahmir Johnson is out for the #Vols today. But Wanya Morris looks good to go and should be in better shape than last week.
