The Tennessee Volunteers have a talented receiving corps heading into the 2019 season, headlined by Marquez Callaway, Josh Palmer and Jauan Jennings.

However, on Sunday, that group lost some depth, as a redshirt sophomore receiver will leave the program.

Per 247Sports, redshirt sophomore Maleik Gray will transfer to the JUCO level, going to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College:

The 6-foot-2, 198-pound Gray, who’s a redshirt sophomore, confirmed to GoVols247 on Sunday that he recently left Tennessee and headed to the junior college in Perkinston, Miss.

Gray came to Tennessee as a 4-star safety in the 2017 class. He redshirted in 2018 after making the move to wide receiver.
