Arkansas has reportedly found its new Director of Recruiting.

Danny West of HawgSports.com reports that Larry McDonald, the former assistant Director of Recruiting at Texas A&M, has joined Chad Morris’ staff. McDonald was reportedly seen at Arkansas’ first spring practice of 2019.

Texas A&M signed the nation’s No. 4 recruiting class for 2019 on the 247Sports Composite. Arkansas signed a class of 25 commitments (plus SMU quarterback transfer Ben Hicks) ranked No. 23 nationally and No. 10 in the SEC.

McDonald’s first recruiting assignment could be working a familiar face. Texas A&M graduate transfer QB Nick Starkel is currently visiting Arkansas. He has two years of immediate eligibility.

McDonald received his Bachelor’s degree from Fayetteville State University and a Master’s from Texas A&M.
