Report: UGA offensive line coach Will Friend expected to join Bobo at CSU

Colorado State is officially introducing former UGA offensive coordinator Mike Bobo as the Rams’ next head coach on Tuesday afternoon, but it appears that CSU may take another Georgia assistant.
FootballScoop is reporting that UGA offensive line coach Will Friend will be a part of Bobo’s staff at Colorado State.

Sources tell us to expect Georgia offensive line coach Will Friend to join Mike Bobo’s staff in a senior capacity.
Friend has been the offensive line coach at UGA since 2011. Sources told Seth Emerson of the Macon Telegraphs that sources said Friend is expected to be named the offensive coordinator.
Georgia has made no official announcement regarding Friend leaving for Colorado State, but has said that he will be coaching for UGA at the Belk Bowl while Bobo will go ahead and assume his head coaching duties for the Rams.
