Reports: Mississippi State lands four-star guard ahead of signing day

One of the top offensive guards in the Class of 2016 didn’t need to wait until National Signing Day to announce he was committing to Mississippi State.

Stewart Reese, a four-star recruit according to Rivals and the No. 19 guard according to 247Sports, has committed to the Bulldogs based on multiple reports.

The 6-foot-5, 340-pounder out of Fort Pierce, Fla., chose Mississippi State over Syracuse not long after an official visit to Starkville from Jan. 15-17.

Reese had offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan State, Nebraska, Ole Miss and South Carolina among others.
