Returning Florida OL starter Brett Heggie shares positive update on his status
The Gators offensive line got some good news to start the week as Brett Heggie announced on Twitter that he’s “100% cleared.”
After starting the first five games in 2017, and seven games total for the season, Heggie was lost for the season after suffering a knee injury in the Missouri game. He projects as a starter for Dan Mullen’s first Florida offense, providing of course, he returns to form coming off his tough injury. According to his latest tweet, that shouldn’t be much of an issue.
If Heggie does return to the starting lineup to open the season, the Gators project to have all five starters return for the 2018 season opener against Charleston.
