Reuben Foster pleads no contest misdemeanor weapon possession

Good news for Reuben Foster, he has taken another step closer to having all of his legal issues behind him.
The San Francisco linebacker has reportedly pleaded no contest to misdemeanor weapon possession charge against him, according to David Lombardi of The Athletic. Following that action, he’s been given two years of probation and a lengthy community service sentence, in addition to paying a minimal fine.
In recent weeks, Foster has dealt with misdemeanor drug charge in Alabama and had all charges dropped against him in California following allegations of domestic assault from a former girlfriend. After accusing Foster of domestic assault, his former girlfriend recanted her statements and acknowledged her claims to be fraudulent.
Foster had been suspended from San Francisco while his legal issues were being worked out but he has since rejoined the team.

Despite resolving the majority of his legal issues, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, Foster could still be suspended by the NFL for some of the 2018 season:
