Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster is back at the combine, undoubtedly looking for a better experience than his first trip. After being sent home from the initial combine date due to an incident with hospital staff, Foster is being given a redo during the event’s medical re-check.
The re-check is typically for players such as Washington receiver Jon Ross and Michigan tight end Jake Butt who are too injured to participate in the medical portion of the combine the first time around. According to the NFL’s Ian Rapoport, Foster is among those included:
Combine medical re-checks are this week & #Bama LB Reuben Foster was asked back after his incident. His shoulder has full range of motion

Even without the incident, Foster’s existing shoulder injury may have meant that he would’ve appeared at the re-check regardless. Of course, there’s no way to tell, as the Alabama LB wasn’t able to complete a physical before being sent home.
