Reuben Foster’s season is over, Washington places linebacker on injured reserve
The fears regarding Reuben Foster’s recent injury have turned out to be valid as the Washington linebacker has been placed on injured reserve by the Redskins.
This news means Foster will miss the entire 2019 NFL season. The former standout Alabama defender was set to make his debut for Washington next season after being released by the San Francisco 49ers late last season.
During Washington’s first OTA event of the season, Foster was unfortunately hurt during a drill, he had to be carted off the field at that point.
In two seasons in San Francisco, Foster racked up 84 tackles and defended two passes. Foster was taken in the first round by the 49ers of the 2017 NFL Draft following his Alabama playing career.
