There was a scary moment Friday night in the Rice vs. Wake Forest game. Rice QB Wiley Green took a hard hit to the head on a running play and needed to be carted off the field afterward.
Green was trying to score a touchdown as a runner when he took a direct hit from a Wake Forest defender. Video of the hit and Green being carted off can be seen below. Reporters observed that Green was able to raise his arms, which is a positive sign any time there is a head-related injury. Green was down for more than five minutes.
