Saint Peter’s is looking to keep its March Madness run alive into the Sweet 16, and the Peacocks nearly pulled off a shot for the ages Saturday night.

Facing 7-seed Murray State in the Round of 32, the 15-seed Peacocks have been in a battle all game long. Both sides were competitive throughout the first half in what has proven to be another good game.

During that first half, one Saint Peter’s player chased down a loose ball and flipped it high in the air to save it and keep it in bounds. Remarkably, the ball nearly went down as a made bucket, rimming in then out before an offensive rebound.

Take a look:

Crazy as it was, it simply goes down as another miss in March Madness. Proof that even the missed shots are a bit crazier this time of year!
