RJ Young placed 19 college football teams into a preseason tier list Thursday morning, eliciting mixed reactions from social media.
The tier list includes five SEC programs, three of which Young included in Tier 1: Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M.

As you can see, Young included Arkansas in Tier 3 and Ole Miss in Tier 4, leaving out Kentucky which was ranked within the top 20 in the Preseason Top 25 AP Poll (Ole Miss was not at No. 21).
Alabama and Georgia were always locks for Tier 1, but Texas A&M beating out Clemson, Utah and Notre Dame for a spot in the top tier is an interesting choice to say the least. The Aggies are set to be strong under Jimbo Fisher this season, but they still have much to prove to be considered among the upper echelon of college football.
Michigan, a team Young is famously low on, did not make the tier list at all.
