ESPN continues to add to its list of studio analyst.
If you missed the news earlier, Mark Sanchez is expected to be named ESPN’s new lead college football analyst for the upcoming season, replacing Mack Brown following North Carolina’s decision to rehire the head coach. Now the network has added to its growing NFL coverage.
ESPN announced on Tuesday that former New England Patriot Rob Ninkovich is joining the network to cover the NFL. His duties at ESPN will include NFL Live, SportsCenter and ESPN Radio during his first season with the network.
“I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to work for ESPN,” said Ninkovich in a prepared statement. “I look forward to sharing my knowledge of the game and expressing my passion for football in the next chapter of my professional career.”
Ninkovich comes to ESPN following an 11-year career in the NFL. He played for Saints, Dolphins and Patriots before retiring from playing at the game’s highest level. As a member of New England’s franchise, Nonkovich won two Super Bowl titles.
