Robert Griffin III has 2 SEC stars in top 5 of his Heisman Trophy rankings

Robert Griffin III has a rather strange take on the Heisman Trophy race.
The former Baylor star should know something about the Heisman, considering he won the trophy in 2011 after a spectacular season for Baylor. However, his picks differ wildly from most media members and odds makers.
Alabama quarterback Bryce Young is considered one of the favorites to win the Heisman but he showed up fifth on Griffin’s list. The award rarely goes to a defensive player but Griffin has Georgia defensive lineman Jordan Davis as the fourth highest rated Heisman candidate.
Running back Kenneth Walker III from Michigan State tops Griffin’s list. Maybe it has something to the “III” suffix.

Griffin played 8 seasons in the NFL before injuries sidelined his career. He is currently a football analyst for ESPN and does have a vote for the Heisman since he’s a former winner.
