Robert Griffin III is settling well into his broadcasting career. The former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL quarterback is known for his sometimes humorous, colorful commentary during ESPN college football games alongside Mark Jones while also playing a role in the network’s NFL coverage as an analyst on “Monday Night Countdown”.

Griffin on Twitter spotlighted his “unsung heroes of college football” thus far in 2022, and coming in at No. 4 was Mississippi State cornerback Emmanuel Forbes. Forbes had 2 interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and a blocked punt against Texas A&M on Oct. 1, leading Griffin to proclaim that the junior “made some money” as a result.

Indeed, the junior is making a case to play on Sundays as his draft stock continues to rise, being named an SEC All-Freshman pick at the close of his 1st season in 2020 before setting a team-high in interceptions and pass deflections as a sophomore.
