The Tennessee Volunteers had the 1998 national championship-winning squad back in Knoxville to be honored at Saturday night’s game against Florida.

The game did not go well, as the Vols ended up losing to the Gators 47-21. Things got worse for one former Vol — Raynoch Joseph Thompson.

As you can see below, and read in the Knoxville police logs here, Thompson, a former Vol linebacker, was arrested following the game for public intoxication:

Thompson was a second-round NFL Draft pick back in 2000, going to the Arizona Cardinals. He was out of the NFL following the 2004 season.

Thompson’s court date is set for Sept. 26. His bond was set at $200.
