Roman Harper still has faith in Alabama, regardless of how people are talking about the Tide.

The former Alabama safety and NFL veteran believes Alabama still has a long season to play despite already having a loss on its schedule. This week Alabama has another tough game this week against Texas A&M, and Harper thinks if the Tide can block out the outside noise they can get a big win.

“Their whole season is still right out there in front of them,” Harper said. “You can’t listen to what everyone is going to tell you about how if you lose how disappointing this team is when all your goals are still right out there in front of you. You control your own destiny, you just got to go out there and win.”

Harper also thinks the Tide are capable of winning an SEC Championship this season. It won’t be easy and they’ll need a few big wins to help them out, but Harper believes if Alabama can get its defense in order they can take the crown.

“They’ve got an explosive enough quarterback and offense that they can put up points, but it’s really going to have to come back down to this defense,” Harper said. “Anytime Alabama creates turnovers and gets after the quarterback, they win that game. I don’t care who they play. When they don’t do those things, they actually struggle.”
