Ross Bjork praised interim coach Elijah Robinson after Texas A&M’s win over Abilene Christian on Saturday.
And with help from the seniors, Bjork gave Robinson the game ball.
“This guy stepped up because of you guys, the players,” Bjork said. “So I think it’s only appropriate that the seniors present the game ball to the man who led us to victory.
Robinson soaked in the chants from the players to celebrate the moment.
“I love y’all to death, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else,” he said. “That’s it, this was our day today, and God put us in this position for a reason. He just answered a prayer. … Brotherhood on 3, 1-2-3, brotherhood!”
