“Since I can remember, Nike has always been the best fit on and off the field,” Williams said in a press release. “Family has always been a huge part of who I am. When I had the opportunity to join the Nike family, I knew I had to just do it.”

Williams established himself as one of the best receivers in the country last season at just 17 years old. He led Alabama with 865 receiving yards and scored 8 touchdowns. For his efforts, Williams was named a first-team All-SEC contributor by the league’s coaches. He was also named a finalist for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award.

Alabama has been a Nike school for more than 30 years.

Williams and Alabama are facing high expectations in 2025 after the Tide missed out on the College Football Playoff last season. Alabama will open the 2025 season on the road at Florida State on Aug. 30.

Financial terms of Williams’ deal with Nike were not disclosed.
