Ahead of another SEC West matchup this weekend, Sam Pittman provided some updates on a few injuries around the team.

Pittman said that he feels good about Chris Paul Jr. and Jaylon Braxton playing this weekend. Paul, a linebacker, and Braxton, a defensive back, both missed last week’s game against Alabama.

Pittman is hoping Dwight McGlothern, who suffered a concussion against Texas A&M, will be able to participate in some non-contact drills in practice this week.

“I think Nudie is getting closer as well,” Pittman said during the SEC coaches teleconference Wednesday. “… That’s still kind of a little bit up in the air as well, but hopefully he can and if he does, he’ll be available on Saturday. It’s getting close to time where he’s got to, if he’s able to practice, he’s got to get that done today and he’s got to practice today if he’s going to be available.”

Pittman also said that Cam Ball, who also missed the Alabama game, has been practicing this week and should be fine to play this Saturday against Mississippi State.

Arkansas is looking to avoid a 6th-straight loss this weekend, and having some key players back will help with that.
