Sam Pittman grateful to be embraced by Razorback fans: ‘I think I fit in at Arkansas because people feel like I’m one of them’
The way Sam Pittman tells it, he’s the most embraced 3-7 coach in history.
Of course, his record will drastically improve at Arkansas this season now that the Razorbacks aren’t playing a 10-game, all-conference schedule, but it’s still a great line.
When it comes to why the Arkansas fan base has been so quick to embrace him, Pittman offered up the following comments during his first appearance at SEC Media Days.
“I think I fit in at Arkansas because people feel like I’m one of them and I want to be one of them, I want to fit in at Arkansas… I’m probably the most well-liked 3-7 coach in the history of football and I’m very grateful for that.”
