Scott Frost suffered yet another narrow loss, as Georgia Southern knocked off Nebraska 45-42 on Saturday to send the Cornhuskers to a 1-2 start.
The Eagles piled up 642 yards, as Nebraska also had a big day on offense with 575 yards. The Cornhuskers suffered an incredible 10th straight one-score loss under Frost after they lost to former Southern Cal coach Clay Helton and Georgia Southern.
It kick-started talk about how long Frost stays at Nebraska, and who the Huskers choose to replace him.
Here’s a sampling of fans and media reaction:
Nebraska loses to Georgia Southern. So who replaces Scott Frost as the next Cornhusker coach? I’m stunned he’s been this much of a disaster. Stunned.

Georgia Southern beats Nebraska 45-42. Scott Frost is now 16-31 overall at Nebraska, including 6-13 in his last 19 games. Each of the Nebraska’s past 13 losses were by 9 points or less
