Scott Meyer has made his decision, the former Crimson Tide snapper will finish out his collegiate career as a member of Derek Mason’s Vanderbilt program.

Meyer entered into the NCAA transfer portal several weeks ago but he recently made his decision to move on to Nashville. This news was first reported by Charlie Potter of 247Sports and has been confirmed by Meyer.

The redshirt junior has snapped on PATs and field goal attempts during his career in Tuscaloosa after walking on at Alabama over attending Air Force and Army. While he walked on at Alabama, Meyer was awarded a scholarship last August during the team’s training camp.

Meyer’s departure brings Alabama’s scholarship count down to 85 heading into the 2019 season.
