Since its inception in 2008, the “All In” tradition at Clemson University has become synonymous with dedication and teamwork. When Dabo Swinney took the helm as head coach, he introduced the poker chip as a powerful metaphor—representing every player’s commitment to giving 110% and going “all in.” Before each game, players ceremoniously deposit their chips into the “ALL IN” bucket, symbolizing their collective resolve to leave everything on the field.
As we gear up for another season, No. 4 Clemson isn’t the only one fully invested in its quest for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
Scott Van Pelt is equally enthusiastic. On the See Ball Get Ball podcast with former ESPN colleague David Pollack, Van Pelt said Clemson is the team he believes in the most in 2025.
“I just felt like I saw it last year,” Van Pelt said. “They have invested within their program. They retained key players, boast incredible talent on defense, and I believe Klubnik can lead them. You witnessed those young receivers develop throughout last season. That’s just a team (Clemson) I really like.”
Will Van Pelt’s instinct prove accurate? The anticipation builds as No. 4 Clemson prepares to kick off their season against No. 9 LSU at Death Valley.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM ET on Aug. 30
