Texas A&M trademarked ’12th Man’ in 1990 and have allowed Seattle’s venue to use the slogan for $5,000 per season.
“The term 12th Man is invaluable to Texas A&M. There is no monetary value you could assign to it,” Texas A&M assistant vice-president Shane Hinckley said earlier this year according to KING 5 News.
