SEC announces All-Freshman Team as Texas A&M, Georgia lead the way

The SEC announced the All-Freshman Team on Thursday, and 11 teams were represented for the postseason honor.
Texas A&M had a league-leading 5 players named to the team, which was voted on by the SEC’s head coaches.
Georgia had 4 players on the All-Freshman Team, while Alabama and South Carolina had 3. South Carolina’s Juju McDowell garnered recognition as an all-purpose athlete and return specialist. Georgia’s Brock Bowers, an SEC All-Freshman Team honoree at tight end, was named the SEC’s Freshman of the Year on Wednesday.
