SEC announces kickoff times, TV information for Week 5 games

Saturday, October 2 is going to be a huge day in the SEC, with a number of high-level games on the schedule.

On Monday, the league announced kickoff times and television information for that day’s action.

Highlighting the games that day will be No. 13 Ole Miss at No. 1 Alabama, which will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. EST and air on CBS.

Two other huge conference matchups will be televised by ESPN that day with No. 16 Arkansas playing at No. 2 Georgia at noon EST, and No. 23 Auburn playing at LSU at 9 p.m. EST.

Start times and television coverage for 2 games, the Florida at Kentucky and Mississippi State at Texas A&M games, won’t be decided until after this weekend’s play.

One of the games will air on ESPN at 6 p.m. EST, while the other will be televised by the SEC Network at 7 p.m. EST.

Here’s a look at every SEC game for Oct. 2 (all times EST):

  • Tennessee at Missouri: Noon, SEC Network
  • Arkansas at Georgia: Noon, ESPN
  • Ole Miss at Alabama: 3:30 p.m., CBS
  • Troy at South Carolina: 3:30 p.m., SEC Network
  • Florida at Kentucky: 6 or 7 p.m., ESPN or SEC Network
  • Mississippi State at Texas A&M: 6 or 7 p.m., ESPN or SEC Network
  • UConn at Vanderbilt: 7:30 p.m., ESPNU
  • Auburn at LSU: 9 p.m., ESPN
