A second SEC men’s basketball game set for Saturday is now off the board, the league office announced on Friday morning.

The Florida at LSU game has been postponed because of a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Florida basketball program, which is consistent with SEC COVID-19 management requirements. A make-up date has not been determined at this time, league officials said.

Both teams are coming off of tough losses earlier in the week. Florida fell at home to South Carolina, while LSU lost to Alabama.

Florida lost its momentum from a big win over West Virginia last week. This was expected to be a difficult stretch for the Gators with three of their next four games on the road. The Tigers, meanwhile, are trying to bounce back from their lowest scoring output of the season in the 78-60 defeat to Alabama. The Tigers came into the game averaging 82.9 points per game, but shot just 31 percent from the floor in the Tide loss.

Earlier in the week, the SEC announced that the Texas A&M at Arkansas game, scheduled for Saturday, was been postponed. The league also called off the Texas A&M-Vanderbilt game, which was set for Wednesday.
