After another exciting weekend of college football that featured several top-25 matchups, the SEC has announced its Players of the Week.
Georgia’s Carson Beck was the Co-Offensive Player of the Week after a 389-yard, 4-touchdown performance against Kentucky on Saturday. He was efficient in the game, completing 28 of 35 passes as the Bulldogs cruised to a 51-13 win.
LSU’s Jayden Daniels was the other Co-Offensive Player of the Week after picking up 259 passing yards, 130 rushing yards and 4 total touchdowns on the night in a gritty win over Missouri.
Ole Miss linebacker Ashanti Cistrunk was the conference’s Defensive Player of the Week after racking up 9 tackles and an interception on the game. He helped the Rebels cruise past Arkansas and hold the Razorbacks to just 36 rushing yards.
Alabama’s Will Reichard was the Special Teams Player of the Week after nailing a 39-yard field goal in the win over Texas A&M. A placekicker, Reichard took over punting responsibilities in the second half after James Burnip went down.
LSU’s Emery Jones Jr. earned Offensive Lineman of the Week after a day where he helped the Tigers’ reach 274 rushing yards. He helped LSU get to 533 total offensive yards.
Alabama’s Justin Eboigbe was the conferences Defensive Lineman of the Week after logging 5 tackles and a quarterback hurry. He also had 1.5 sacks, including one that resulted in a safety.
Georgia place kicker Peyton Woodring earned Co-Freshman of the Week after going 6-for-6 on PATs, including a 42-yarder, during Georgia’s 51-13 win over Kentucky.
Florida wide receiver Arlis Boardingham was the other Co-Freshman of the Week after picking up 99 yards and a touchdown on 7 receptions.
