SEC announces preseason All-Conference men’s basketball squads

With men’s basketball season around the corner, the SEC has announced its preseason All-Conference teams.
LSU and Tennessee each have 2 players on the First Team. Florida, Kentucky, and South Carolina have multiple players across both teams.
Here’s the complete list for the First Team and the Second Team:
First Team All-SEC
- John Petty Jr. – Alabama
 - Keyontae Johnson – Florida
 - Brandon Boston Jr. – Kentucky
 - Javonte Smart – LSU
 - Trendon Watford – LSU
 - AJ Lawson – South Carolina
 - John Fulkerson – Tennessee
 - Yves Pons – Tennessee
 
Second Team All-SEC
- Herbert Jones – Alabama
 - Desi Sills – Arkansas
 - Scottie Lewis – Florida
 - Olivier Sarr – Kentucky
 - Devontae Shuler – Ole Miss
 - Dru Smith – Missouri
 - Jermaine Couisnard – South Carolina
 - Savion Flagg – Texas A&M
 - Scotty Pippen, Jr. – Vanderbilt
 
No. 10 Kentucky and No. 12 Tennessee are the 2 SEC teams ranked in the preseason AP poll. Kentucky finished atop the SEC standings last season at 25-6 overall and 15-3 in conference play. Tennessee went 17-14 overall and 9-9 in the SEC last season.
The season tips on Nov. 25 and conference play is slated to begin Dec. 29. The SEC tournament is set for March 10-14 in Nashville.
