With the final regular season weekend of college football in the books, the SEC league office has officially named its Week 13 SEC Players of the Week:
Co-Offensive Player of the Week –Â Jarrett Stidham, QB, Auburn
- Stidham threw for 237 yards while completing 21 of 28 passes and added 51 yards rushing and a touchdown in the Iron Bowl win over No. 1 Alabama.
- Drove the offense to 408 yards of offense and 26 points against the Tide defense.
- Completed 7 of 9 passes for 106 yards on third down plays.
Co-Offensive Player of the Week – Drew Lock, QB, Missouri
- Set the SEC single-season record for touchdown passes in the Tigers win over Arkansas.
- Lock threw for 448 yards and 5 TDs while completing 25 of 42 passes against the Razorbacks.
- Has 43 passing touchdowns on the year, breaking Andre Woodson’s SEC season record of 40 set in 2007 with Kentucky.
- Completed 7 of 9 passes for 127 yards and 2 TDs in the fourth quarter.
- Now leads the SEC in 9 offensive categories and the nation in three of those categories.
Defensive Player of the Week –Â Devin White, LB, LSU
- Tied the LSU single-season record with his eighth game of double-digit tackles.
- Recorded 13 tackles in the Texas A&M game and leads the SEC in tackles this season with 127. That is also the sixth best mark in LSU history.
- Also had 1.5 TFL and an interception in the win.
- Led a Tigers defense that held the Aggies without a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Special Teams Player of the Week –Â Gary Wunderlich, K, Ole Miss
- Was a perfect 5 for 5 on kick opportunities in the Egg Bowl.
- Made a 33-yard field goal and made all 4 PAT tries in the 31-28 upset of Mississippi State.
- Became the school’s all-time leader in points scored, career field goals made, and PATs made.
Freshman of the Week –Â Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
- Threw for 224 yards and 2 TDs while completing 12 of 16 passes against Georgia Tech.
- Fromm ranks third in the SEC in pass efficiency and contributed a 78-yard touchdown pass in the win over the Yellow Jackets.
- The Bulldogs finish the season third in the SEC in scoring offense at 36.9 points a game.
Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week –Â Greg Little, OL, Ole Miss
- Helped clear the way for the Rebels offense in a 31-28 upset over rival Mississippi State.
- Led the way for RB Jordan Wilkins to rush for 110 yards in the game and over 1,000 yards this season.
Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week –Â Bruno Reagan, OL, Vanderbilt
- Recorded five knockdown blocks and helped clear the way for RB Ralph Webb to break the schools career record for rushing touchdowns.
- Did not allow a QB hurry in the 42-24 win over Tennessee.
- Played every offensive snap for an offense that piled up 529 total yards with a balanced attack.
Defensive Lineman of the Week –Â Nick Coe, DL, Auburn
- Recorded five tackles, a sack, and a QB hurry in the Iron Bowl win over Alabama.
- Recorded two key stops on third down and posted his third game this season with five or more tackles.
