It was a crazy weekend in the SEC.

Missouri upset No. 15 K-State on an incredible 61-yard field goal. Georgia had to overcome a double-digit deficit to come back and knock off Georgia, and Florida dominated Tennessee in a win coach Billy Napier desperately needed.

With all of this, the SEC on Monday had plenty to choose from when it announced players of the week in the conference.

On offense, it was co-players and teammates, as LSU’s Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers shared the award. Daniels was 30-of-34 for 361 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also rushing for 2 more touchdowns. He set an LSU record by completing 88.2% of his passes.

Nabers was his favorite target on the day, catching 13 passes for 239 yards and 2 touchdowns. He tied a school-record for catches in a half with 10.

The defensive player of the week was safety Trey Washington of Ole Miss. Washington had 10 tackles, 2 TFL and a force fumble in the win against Georgia Tech.

Missouri kicker Harrison Mevis was the talk of the country on Saturday, as he kicked an SEC record 61-yard field goal to help the Tigers upset No. 15 K-State. With that kick, it was no surprise but he was named the SEC special teams player of the week.

Georgia’s Sedrick Van Prann was named the offensive lineman of the week, as he started his 33 consecutive game. The Bulldogs had 458 total yards of offense in the win against South Carolina.

Florida’s Cam Jackson and South Carolina’s T.J. Sanders were named co-defensive lineman of the week. Jackson had 6 tackles in the win against Tennessee, and was a big part why Florida held Tennessee to 100 rushing yards after the Volunteers entered the game average 257.5.

Sanders had 9 tackles in the loss to Georgia, with 2 TFLs and 1 sack.

Florida safety freshman Jordan Castell was named freshman of the week after 10 tackles against the Volunteers.
