A couple LSU players  — including a running back — earned Week 6 honors from the SEC after the team’s 45-24 win over South Carolina on Saturday, but RB Leonard Fournette wasn’t one of them.

Derrius Guice took home SEC Freshman of the Week with his 161 yards, including a 4-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter against the Gamecocks.

Guice and Fournette (158 rushing yards) became the first pair of LSU backs to rush for at least 150 yards in a game since Sept. 7, 1996 against Houston, a span of almost 20 years. That season-opening game against the Cougars saw Kevin Faulk (246) and Rondell Mealey (161) hit those plateaus, and it was the only other time that’s happened in LSU history.

Meanwhile, center Ethan Pocic took home Offensive Lineman Player of the Week honors for the Tigers. Alabama senior linebacker Reggie Ragland was a ball hawk on Saturday against Arkansas, finishing with 8 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 1 pass breakup and 2 quarterback hurries. Here’s the full list of award winners as announced by the league office:
