5 SEC teams make Jeff Goodman’s updated preseason college basketball Top 25

The SEC looks to have several national contenders next basketball season, at least that’s the way Jeff Goodman sees things.
Stadium’s college basketball insider recently updated his top 25 for the upcoming college basketball season and five teams from the Southeastern Conference made the cut.
While the SEC has five teams ranked, none of Goodman’s current top five hail from the conference as Gonzaga, Villanova, Kansas, Texas and UCLA round out the insider’s top five.
Here are the SEC teams that currently rank in Goodman’s preseason top 25:
#9 Kentucky
#10 Arkansas
#13 Alabama
#15 Tennessee
#23 Auburn
