The SEC had another weekend full of drama in Week 7.

Alabama and Tennessee barely avoided losing 2 in a row, Texas dominated Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry, and LSU pulled out a home win over Ole Miss.

Week 8 could also have some serious drama, and Circa Sports has released the opening betting lines. This slate features No. 5 Georgia traveling to No. 1 Texas, No. 7 Alabama at No. 11 Tennessee, and 5 other conference matchups. Vanderbilt, who plays Ball State, is the one SEC team to play a non-conference opponent in  Week 8.

Here’s a look at every SEC opening line for Week 8, via Circa Sports:

  • Kentucky at Florida (-2)
  • Alabama (-1) at Tennessee
  • South Carolina at Oklahoma (-4)
  • LSU (-1) at Arkansas
  • Georgia at Texas (-3)
  • Texas A&M (-15) at Mississippi State
  • Auburn at Missouri (-6)
  • Ball State at Vanderbilt (-27)

Kentucky and Florida are both looking to bounce back in Week 8 after suffering tough conference losses in Week 7. Kentucky fell to Vanderbilt at home, while Florida lost in OT to Tennessee.

Speaking of Tennessee, things don’t get any easier for the Vols in Week 8. Fresh off of the Florida game, the Vols will look to keep the momentum going against the Tide. South Carolina and Oklahoma also both lost in Week 7, so both teams will be desperate for a win. LSU heads to Arkansas after defeating Ole Miss.

Georgia at Texas will have a ton of eyes on it. The top-5 matchup will have SEC Championship and College Football Playoff implications. Texas A&M looks to stay rolling against Mississippi State, while Auburn desperately tries for an SEC win against Missouri.

Finally, Vanderbilt will get a break this weekend, getting to play Ball State after wins over Alabama and Kentucky.
