How many SEC teams will make it to the postseason in 2017?

The outlet projects Alabama to beat Washington again in the College Football Playoff semifinal and play Ohio State in the national championship — another Nick Saban vs. Urban Meyer showdown.
Two SEC teams are projected to play in New Year’s Six Bowls: Auburn (vs. USF) and LSU (vs. USC). So, that’s three SEC West teams making it to the three most meaningful bowl games. Can one East team spoil the fun?
One sexy matchup would be Georgia vs. Miami in the Citrus Bowl. Mark Richt going against the guys he recruited at Georgia? That would be must-watch TV.

- TaxSlayer Bowl: Mississippi State vs. Virginia Tech
